Welcome guys, on this time i will show you how to root your Samsung Galaxy Chat step by step. For you who are new about android phone should know that there is many ways to root the android series depending on what device running with it. So, here is the tutorial and make sure you read this tutorial carefully.
Caution: In my experience nothing has ever gone wrong with rooting. There is always that slight chance something can mess up. Use caution and only do this if you want to. I am not responsible if anything happens (but I really don’t think anything will happen if you do everything right) Also rooting voids your warranty but don’t worry, unrooting should give it back like nothing ever happened.!! What you need to prepare:
- Galaxy Chat GT-B5330 on Android 4.04 with Firmware- IMM76D.B5330XWALH3 and a PC
- Backup all personal data on your phone to make sure you have a copy of your personal data (e.g., contacts, SMS, MMS, Internet settings, Wi-Fi passwords, and the like) in case the procedure in this guide erases such data. Guide from here
- Make sure your device has at least 75% of phone battery charge.
- Download Samsung Drivers
- Download Unlock tool [ Alternative Download ]
Steps to Root Galaxy Chat GT-B5330
1. First install drivers from your Galaxy Chat using the above given link [ Samsung Drivers ]
2. Set your device in USB debugging mode using the following command "settings> Applications > Development"
3. Now connect your mobile with PC using USB port
4. Download Unlock tool and run UnlockRoot.exe
5. It may take time in completing root process so be patient
6. After completing root, reboot your device
7. Done! Your device is rooted successfully.
To know that whether rooting is successfully done or not, Install Avast Free Internet security and enable its Firewall. If Firewall is activated, you have root access in your device.

don't work... "failed to get shell,..."
It is just an okay product, but you can't expect much from a less than 5 thousand phone. 2 MP camera is OK. Screen resolution is not good, pictures look blurred. Battery back up also not good, 2 days max with a decent use.
