[Guide] How to Root the Huawei Fusion U8652 using UnlockRoot

Last time i've shown you how to root Huawei Ascend Y H866C. This time i will try to explain a simple guide using one tool to root your device which is Huawei Fusion U8652. The tool that i will us is called UnlockRoot. Before you continue the process, you need to read this article carefully.

Caution: In my experience nothing has ever gone wrong with rooting. There is always that slight chance something can mess up. Use caution and only do this if you want to. I am not responsible if anything happens (but I really don’t think anything will happen if you do everything right)  Also rooting voids your warranty but don’t worry, unrooting should give it back like nothing ever happened.!! Please read about Rooting here.

Note:
  • The instructions in this guide are intended for use with the Huawei U8652. Applying these instructions on another device or model may produce undesired outcomes.
  • The information in this guide is provided for instructional and educational purposes only. There is no guarantee that these instructions will work under your specific and unique circumstances.
  • Use these instructions at your own risk. We shall not hold any responsibility or liability for whatever happens to you or your device arising from your use of the info in this guide.
  • Read and understand the whole guide first before actually performing the instructions.
  • This Procedure works for Mobiles having stock ROM only, and will definitely void your warranty, although the warranty can be claimed by un-rooting your device.

What you need to prepare:
  • Huawei U8652 Bean and a PC
  • Backup all personal data on your phone to make sure you have a copy of your personal data (e.g., contacts, SMS, MMS, Internet settings, Wi-Fi passwords, and the like) in case the procedure in this guide erases such data. Guide from here
  • Make sure your device has at least 75% of phone battery charge.

Steps to root the Huawei U8652:

1. You need to install the latest Android SDK (search google for latest version)

2. download unlockroot v2.3

3. Follow the instructions and make sure that you have set your Settings > Development > USB Debugging box checked. I also set Unknown sources checkbox on.

4. Type in the following code on the phone keypad to open up the Service Mode

*#*# 2846579 #*#*

5. Go to Project Menu > Background Settings > Log Settings
6. Turn on Log Switch and set Log Level Settings to Verbose

7. Go back one screen

8. Go to Dump and Log and place a check in all log settings.

9. Reboot the phone

10. Once rebooted use UnlockRoot and root you phone.

11. Confirm success by using a Terminal app from the marketplace (free) and when you open a terminal type su at the $ prompt. It will ask if you want to install SuperUser, accept. The terminal prompt should now read # instead of $ which means you are a root user.

Good Luck! Do let us know if you face any difficulties is rooting this phone and we would help you for sure.

I was wondering if this would work with ROOT my "Huawei H867G Inspira" I am not wanting to try it without someone more experienced letting me know their thoughts. I have never rooted or unrooted a phone. I just made the switch from IOS to Android.

Problem with trying to root Huawei U8652. I followed above procedure - everything went fine for steps 1-9. For step 10, the UnlockRoot program worked normally for several phases, but then gave an error message ("cannot get shell root"). I've repeated several times, and get the same error message each time.

Any ideas on to how to resolve this?

Did you ever figure out how to root your Huawei Inspira?

Any Huawei 8652 built in the last two years uses 2.3.6, and this procedure will not work on them. I've yet to find any way to successfully root an one running 2.3.6.
