Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Reviews, Release Date and Price

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is already announced at IFA Berlin 2013 during the Samsung Unpacked Episode 2 event. The monster is officially released and the date has been set for September 25th. This is the shipping date and there is no official date for when pre-orders are accepted by carriers worldwide.

The main specs of Note 3 are the 5.7 inch 1080p Full HD Super AMOLED display, Snapdragon 800 chipset with 2.3 quad-core Krait 400 for the LTE model or 1.9 GHz for Exynos Octa Core CPU for the non-LTE variant. That’s right, the Galaxy Note 3 will also come in multiple editions, just like the previous Galaxy S2, S3, S4 and Note 2 devices. The Galaxy Note 3 also features 3GB RAM, 32 GB / 64GB internal storage that’s expandable up to 64GB via external microSD.

It will run Android 4.3 Jelly Bean for the moment. However, everyone waits for Google to launch their Android 4.4 KitKat OS and then we can speculate on whether the Note 3 will be updated to Android 4.4 or not. The official pricing of this device should be somewhere around $600 and around $200 for a two-year contract from all major US carriers.

Samsung says that they expect the Galaxy Note 3 to start shipping all over the world in October. In the US it will be available from AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile and US Cellular with each carrier adding their own edited TouchWiz and Android 4.3 interface. It comes with tons of new features and improvements to its overall UI, as you will from now be able to choose from three differently colored models: Jet Black, Classic White and Blush Pink.

The official release date for Samsung next ‘phablet’ is September 25 and more and more users are starting to search for websites where they can pre-order the device. All major US carriers should announce in the next few days more info about the availability of Galaxy Note 3 and pricing.

Motorola Nexus 5, A New Nexus Family Reported to Be True

Android smartphone may be the king of smartphone right now. It offers different taste and experience than other OS. Even other OS smartphone are also give what they have to people, but consumers can choose what suits them. Indeed, consumers know what they want from the producers which in this case are the manufacturer from any countries.

Earlier today we’ve told you about a report claiming that the Nexus 5 will be developed by LG, just like it happened with its predecessor, the Nexus 4. Well, the infamous @evleaks thinks otherwise, saying that the next-gen Nexus smartphone will be a Motorola handset.

Each and every smartphone enthusiast knows about @evleaks, but if you don’t learn he has made a name for himself on the scene by leaking info and pictures of unreleased products and his reports are most of the time accurate.

This time @evleaks though it’s about time to dismiss some rumors about an alleged Nexus 5 photo that made the headlines over the past couple of days. Evan Bass claims that the “Nexus 5 [we've seen in leaked pictures] is probably the LG Optimus L9 II,” adding that the Nexus 5 will most likely be a Motorola handset. He also mentions about the name of Nexus 4 v2.

@evleaks’ claims check out with Tailor Wimberly’s report saying that we will see a Motorola Nexus 5 in Q4 2013. Wimberly has been pretty accurate with the Moto X rumors, thus we are tempted to believe his reports. The same source said that the Nexus 5 will be different from the Moto X Google Edition, which keeps us wondering about the smartphone’s technical specifications.
Anyway, it reports are indicating that Google plans have a Nexus 4 price point approach for the Nexus 5, too. Therefore we might see the next-gen Nexus smartphone selling through Google Play at a price starting $299.

But will the Motorola Nexus 5 cannibalize Moto X’s sales? No, it won’t as the two smartphones aim at different public segments. The Moto X will be like an iPhone of Android world, an easy to use smartphone that packs a couple of cool features, but which will be the most customizable smartphone ever in terms of design. A smartphone designed for the masses. On the other hand the Nexus 5 will be an affordable terminal with technical specifications placing it at the border between mid-range and high-end segments, with unlocked bootloader and stock Android, aiming at the tech savvy type.

Nokia Lumia 1020 will come in 41MP and Brings to Three Colors

The launch of the Windows Phone 8-powered Nokia Lumia 1020 smartphone, so far known as Nokia EOS will be in two days. Until all the details about the PureView 808 camera phone follow up are officially unveiled, new information about the Windows Phone 8 smartphone are surfacing, confirming what we already knew and bringing a series of interesting novelties.

Alongside the leaked press image, some fresh details about the handset's specs emerged, including its much talked about camera unit. The latter promises to be a smartphone photographer's dream when the handset goes official.

Reportedly, the 41MP camera unit of the Nokia Lumia 1020 will be capable of simultaneously capturing 32MP and 5MP images with 16:9 ratio, as well as a 38MP ones with 4:3 aspect. The 5MP image will be oversampled by combining seven pixels into one "super pixel." The camera will unsurprisingly feature optical image stabilization (OIS) and F2.2 aperture.

The Pro Camera app which left us wondering last time will bring proper enthusiast settings to the user. They include the option to manually tweak ISO, white balance, focus, shutter speed, and the flash settings.

Further leaked specs for the Nokia Lumia 1020 included never before seen on WP handset 2GB of RAM, 32GB of non-expandable storage, NFC, FM radio, flip to silence gesture, and optional wireless charging.

Nokia Lumia 1020 is allegedly expected to hit AT&T's shelves by the end of this month. No details have been spilled on international availability.

The Nokia Lumia 1020 will break cover this coming Thursday in New York City. We will be covering the event live from the spot, so be sure to tune in for the full scoop on the smartphone

Unless the Nokia Lumia 1020 will have a chip for the camera, the Snapdragon 800 chipset is currently the only one to support that high of pixel count. Which processor will Nokia use for the Lumia 1020?

Download Instagram for Windows Phone (3rd Party) Called Instagraph

As we can see for now, WP is still lack of apps available on market. But still this OS need more development. One for sure is there is no Instagram for WP as for the moment. But there has been a lot of talk about Instagram for Windows Phone around these parts lately. There have been a lot of official apps arriving on the platform, like Pandora, and it has been making people more anxious for Instagram. Last night WPCentral posted a little teaser saying “Anything is possible” with a photo clearly taken on a Windows Phone and uploaded to an Instagram account. Today we have more information on that app, and a video walkthrough (must be watched on YouTube).

The app is called Instagraph, and it appears to be an officially certified app that can upload photos to Instagram. It doesn’t use the standard Instagram filters. Instead it uses the open source Aviary photo filters. Aviary provides quite a few more options than Instagram users have. After adding filters and applying effects you can then upload the image to Instagram. It might not be the official app that many people want, but this is probably the closest we are going to get. We will let you know as soon as it arrives!

UPDATE: We have learned more about Instagraph. It is not an officially certified app by Instagram. Apparently the developers have found a way to upload images to Instagram without an official API. The interesting part is it doesn’t appear that they have reverse engineered the API, like 3rd-party Pandora apps. This means Instagram can’t suddenly change something and kill the app. We will keep following this interesting app.

In times when people are slowly starting to migrate from bigger 10-inch tablets to the more convenient 7-inch ones, Panasonic has decided to go the other way. And perhaps a bit too far, if I might add.

What you see above is Panasonic’s latest ‘tablet’, a 20-inch monstrosity that has a mind-boggling 4K resolution display. And on the inside it’s running on the full Windows 8 operating system.

Here are the full specs of the device:

The device is aimed at photographers, designers, architects and such. It remains to be see when it would be launched, what it would be priced at and who would want to lug around something so big with just two hours of battery life.

You can watch a hands-on video of the device here.

Samsung Galaxy S IV Should Be Like This [Hot Rumor]

Apparently there are many rumors said that the next monster phone made by Samsung which is also the successor of Galaxy S series will not come out in the next year. But many people hope that Samsung Galaxy S IV will be released in the last 2013. This is planned in order to give space for the current flagship phone Samsung Galaxy S III to reach worldwide and make the owners satisfied.

But rumor is still rumor. The truth lies on the Samsung's hand wether they will release the next flagship phone in the early year of 2013 or not is still unknown. But one thing for sure, the specs that will be put on the the next flagship will also be must amazing sure enough.

Even it’s still likely months until we see the Samsung Galaxy S IV, but talk about it has already started and once that ball starts rolling it’s hard to stop it. This time, we have a wishful concept for the next Galaxy S Android flagship and it’s a looker.

Some of the features like an even lighter and slimmer body seem possible, others like the laser-projected keyboard we’re plain tired of seeing - it’s not going to happen, folks.

Before we start commenting, though, you’d better first take a look at the specs and the beautifully produced concept video below. Here are the wishful specs for this S IV specs:

Specification:
  • Android 4.2 Jelly Bean Touchwiz
  • 5 inch 1080p Full HD Super Amoled + Display
  • 2.0 Ghz A15 Exynos 5450 Quad CPU
  • ARM Mali T658 GPU
  • 13 MP Rear with 2 MP Front Facing Camera
  • Standard Battery Li-Ion 3100 mAh Battery
  • 16/32/64 GB Internal memory options
  • Removable SD Card Slot Up to 64 GB
  • Corning Gorilla Glass 3
  • 2 GB DDR3 RAM
  • 4G LTE Connectivity
  • Multi Purpose/Dedicated Camera Button
  • Bluetooth 5.0
  • Front Speakers
The only thing that seems like a lock is the 1080p display. Looking at all other manufacturers, it almost seems like a sure fact that Samsung will also have to use a 5-inch 1080p display to be relevant.

A Samsung Exynos 5 processor also is almost certain to be inside the handset, and we’d bet on a quad-core version, if only because of the buzz word that quad-core has become. 2.0GHz, though? We doubt it as it’d be too much of a hit on the battery.

And when it comes to the camera sensor, having a 13-megapixel one definitely won’t solve anyone’s problems, what matters is the quality of the camera.

With all that, we have to admit that the concept is really beautifully made and it’s worth a look, if just for that. What are your wishes and expectations for the Samsung Galaxy S IV?

Make Your Mobile Phone Secure with Insurance ? Is It Worth ?

Today, we may be safe walking on the street bringing our daily phone everywhere because of job makes us with. Sometime we need to consider about how if someone stole our phone, With mobile phone theft soaring, should you add yours to your household insurance or go for standalone cover? We scan the market for the best policies.

For many years Guardian Money has warned of the pitfalls of buying mobile phone insurance, which can be pricey and often has more get-outs than an escape artist.

Claims can be turned down for any number of reasons – such as if you fail to report the loss within 24 hours, or if the theft in the street was not accompanied by an actual threat of physical violence. Phones taken from schools or from public spaces, often including public transport, are rarely covered … and so on.

This led us to conclude in the past that mobile phone insurance wasn't worth the money, especially when handset costs weren't that high.

However, with the latest smartphones – particularly Apple iPhones – now costing around £600 to replace, we have had to reassess. A quick look on internet chatrooms shows there is huge interest in finding a cheap way to insure smartphones, but no one appears to have come up with a stand-out policy.

The simplest way to cover a handset is to buy your phone network's own policy. But these can be very expensive. Buy an iPhone 4S from Vodafone, and its Cover Me insurance costs £12.99 a month, or almost £312 over a two-year contract. Orange charges a similar £12 a month.

A cheaper option is to buy cover from one of the plethora of firms now offering to insure smartphones. Away from the big-name retailers, two of the best-known are Foneguard and TalkCover, and they offer insurance from £5.33 and £6.66 a month respectively for iPhones. Again there are plenty of exclusions, and in the case of TalkCover, there's an excess of £100 for an iPhone claim.

Undoubtedly the cheapest option is to add the phone to your home insurance, usually as a "possessions outside the home" extra. This could cost as little as £30 a year, and there will be other benefits.

You need to check the excess on the policy – again, it could be £100. However, you should weigh up how likely you are to claim. Contents insurance now gives significant no-claims discounts, meaning your premium could shoot up if you make a claim. You may take the view that you would rather not have your iPhone tangled up with your home insurance.

The best option we have found is Barclaycard's Gadget Insurance. You don't need to be a card carrier to insure the latest iPhone for £5.99 a month, or just under £72 a year. A BlackBerry costs £1.49 a month, and an iPad, £4.88. There's a £50 excess for iPhones, other smartphones and iPads, and while the policy has several notable caveats, it isn't quite as full of exclusions as some. It includes accidental damage. As with any policy, make sure you go through the small print.

If you have had a good or bad experience with Barclaycard's insurance or think there's a better policy out there, email money@guardian.co.uk

Lastly, follow these simple precautions to reduce the risk of becoming a victim of theft:

• Watch out for people on bikes and mopeds, and don't use your phone if someone could whizz by and grab it.

• Don't check your phone as soon as you leave a tube or train station – leave it a while, or walk into a shop.

• Don't text and walk – you will be less aware of what is happening around you.

• If you're talking outside, stand with your back against a wall so no one can come up behind you.

• Register your phone and other property at immobilise.com – it can help recover your property and capture thieves. You will need your phone's IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) number, which you can find by typing *#06# into your phone.

BlackBerry N-Series QWERTY Shows Up Without Navigation and Menu Buttons

Here comes another live photos of the new blackberry phones. The one in which will be released in full touch screen and another one will be released in QWERTY keyboard.

Only a few days after its touchscreen sibling made a couple of appearances, RIM's BlackBerry N-Series smartphone emerged in a duo of live photos. The soon to be revealed BlackBerry 10 smartphone packs a hardware QWERTY keyboard in addition to its capacitive touchscreen.

As you can see in the photos above, the BlackBerry N-Series looks a lot like the currently offered Bold 9900, save for the lack of navigation and menu buttons, which have given way to a larger screen. The QWERTY appears to be unsurprisingly well-made and comfortable, so the BlackBerry purists should have a good reason to look forward to the device.

The BlackBerry N-Series is all but certain to launch alongside the BlackBerry Z10 on January 30 in New York City. We will update you should we hear more about the upcoming device. So let't wait for the price then.

The Launching Date of Blackberry 10 has been Confirmed

This is a great news for the Blackberry fans out there. During these months after getting delayed, RIM's BlackBerry 10 platform finally has a launch date set. On January 30, RIM will hold multiple events across the world simultaneously where it will launch both the OS and the first the BlackBerry phones to use it.

The BB 10 OS will hit the ground running - it will launch with "a large catalog of the leading applications from across the globe and across all categories" and a FIPS 140-2 certification (which means that government agencies can switch to BB 10 right away and count on security). You can read more about FIPS 140-2 over here.

During the event, RIM will give details on the two launch phones and their availability. We've most likely seen them already - the touchscreen operated L-series and the more traditional QWERTY-packing N-Series. Then there's the rumored BlackBerry 10 Aristo device with a quad-core Krait and a 4.65" AMOLED 720p display.

RIM's press release didn’t say anything about the first two BlackBerry 10 phones, so the Aristo remains in the rumor mill for now, but the company did say that the phones are being tested by 50 carriers (with more on the way), pointing to a wide launch.

For me myself i can't wait to see the Blackberry 10's releasing as well. It seems pity to know that Blackberry is not active as other smartphone brand did.

iPhone 5S Trial Production is Planned on the Next Month

We all know that the best phone so far which is iPhone 5 just been released on the market. People are also still tasting the device on their hands not so long. But the news is already reached us that the next 5s is already begun to be on the trial production.

A story coming from the Commercial Times is suggesting that Apple have no intention of resting on their laurels when it comes to updating and upgrading their iPhone hardware and could be planning on initiating a trial production run of iPhone 5S handsets as early as next month. It seems nothing short of madness to suggest that the Cupertino based company could be even contemplating pushing out a new iPhone so soon after the successful release of the current model iPhone 5, but as far-fetched as the report may seem on the surface it does actually raise a few intriguing points that could add some fuel to this one. The publication is making reference to the fact that Apple have been facing low yield rates for certain components that are included in the iPhone 5 and could therefore take action to accelerate the launch of its successor.

Any devices that are born from a trial production run taking place toward the end of this year wouldn’t make it in the hands of the public, but it is also being speculated that should an initial trial prove successful, Apple could be looking to put the iPhone 5S into mass production in the first quarter of 2013. Apple’s current iPhone 5 is the sixth-generation smartphone to come from the fruit company, with all previous releases either following or going beyond a twelve month release schedule. Given previous release history it seems highly unlikely that we will be seeing a new iPhone in the next few months.

Until we hear anything additional or concrete from reliable and tested sources then I think it is safe to assume that the current iPhone 5 will see us through until at least September/October of 2013. However, when that time does arrive it will be extremely interesting to see whether or not Apple will go down the route of releasing a totally revamped handset or do actually make incremental updates and push out an iPhone 5S.

So, from this we can see as we wait for the 5s or buying this iPhone 5 in which we know that there are many things should be fixed inside the phone already.

Intel Seems Working on Future Mobile Devices Using 48-Core Processors

Nokia only recently claimed single -ore processors were all that was needed to power today’s smartphones, though thanks to market pressure, compromised in bringing a dual-core chip to the Lumia 920. Look at the entire smartphone and tablet market, and you’ll notice each vendor is following a similar motif in adding more cores as a form of natural progression. However, if you thought the Galaxy S III was a bit of a powerhouse with its quad-core Exynos processor, wait until you get a load of what Intel is cooking up.

The company, which is by far the foremost manufacturer of processors in the world of computing, is looking to build an incredible 48-core processor for smartphones and tablets. Considering the speed of the iPhone 5, for example, which runs on a dual-core A6 chip, a 48 core chip should be one notch slower than telepathy, right?

Well in actual fact, while the core count is certainly a useful component in determining the overall speed of a device, it’s certainly not the end-all, be-all. In a similar manner to which the number of megapixels is used to monopolize smartphone cameras, many consumers are led to believe that a device with more cores than another is, by and large, a more efficient one.

Cores serve to chop up big tasks into digestible chunks, so the more cores you have, the more chunks can be dealt with without lagging up the device. Thus, if you have 48 cores, than number of complicated tasks could occur at the same time. Before you all get excited, though, the experts have already waded in and insisted the technology is a decade off reaching our prized mobile assets.

Undeterred by the claims of a ten-year wait, however, Intel’s chief technology officer believes 48-core processors could make an appearance long before then, and seems pretty enthusiastic about his company’s progress. Speaking with Computerworld, he noted:

I think the desire to move to more natural interfaces to make the interaction much more human-like is really going to drive the computational requirements. Having large numbers of cores to generate very high performance levels is the most energy efficient way to deliver those performance levels.

Suddenly, my dual-core smartphone feels decidedly slow.

Windows Phone Advantages and Disadvantages You Should Know Before Buying

You must already know Symbian, Android, BlackBerry, as well as IOS. But actually there is another smartphone platform that is no less interesting from Microsoft, namely Windows Phone. Windows Phone will now participate in the competitive smartphone OS in the industry that would compete with Android, IOS and Blackberry OS.

Now Windows Phone has reached the 7.5 update code-named fruit, Mango. Here are 10 features of Windows Phone 7.5 is interesting.

1. The interface on Windows Phone
Microsoft relies on Metro UI as the user interface or a mobile interface to adopt Windows Phone 7.5 or Mango. The main screen relies on a collection of boxes that can be changed in it; for example, by application, weather updates, news updates, contacts, or the RSS feed.

Once the number of applications that are installed so that pretty much takes a lot of screens, there will be a sequence of the alphabet appears in the application menu. The mechanism is similar to looking for the name of the person in the phonebook so as to facilitate the search application. Mango interface concept is more directed to "glance and go", which basically makes users able to get the information you need with just a glance.

2. Bing Windows Phone
Android is like a stick with the Google search engine, then that's between Windows Phone with Bing. Search engines are not so popular in Indonesia has several features like Local Scout (Scout Local) that will allow you to search for restaurants, events, and events going on around you based on the location of the phone.

For music lovers, the combination of Bing and Windows Phone 7.5 is pretty awesome. Now you can ask Bing to listen to the music you hear. Then Bing will find all the information associated with it as well as links to the Zune Marketplace.

Then there are features of Vision. With this feature, you can scan text and Bing will offer you to search for or interpret text. Moreover, like Google Googles, Vision can search for information based on the image. You can even compare the sales price of a book with just photographing the front side or back with another book store!

3. What's New Account Filter Windows Phone
In addition to integration with Facebook, Mango is now also able to connect to Twitter and LinkedIn. With so many contact on our social networking accounts, area What's New on the Hub could be a place People status updates and Wall posts that will never run out.

Well, People Groups feature can help you to choose a specific list to be displayed. So you can update the status of your group's office in a separate group, so no need to spend time manually selecting. For What's New, you can update only the option of adding social networking, for example from Facebook alone.

4. Chat Windows Phone
Integration with Facebook on top also brought good news for the sector Messaging. Now with Mango you can directly chat using Facebook Chat directly in the message menu. Microsoft brings together all the way talking in one menu. So for example you're chatting with Facebook chat, then switch to the other person SMS, you do not need to switch to another application. All chats will be forwarded automatically in a single thread.

5. Speech Windows Phone
Sometimes it is easier to talk than to type, especially in certain situations such as driving, cooking or even sleepy. Voice support in Windows Phone allows you to dictate the message to be sent by simply selecting the Speak button. Mango can also read an incoming message with a pretty loud.

6. Linked Inboxes Windows Phone
Features email inbox is usually often overlooked. Microsoft gives you the ability to organize and classify incoming email. You can put together all the emails in one inbox or separate them based on your needs. For example: You can just connect a few emails from colleagues to enter into a special inbox.

7. Custom Ringtones Windows Phone
Finally, you can now create your own personalized ringtones. Way too easy as you put songs onto the Zune client software. During the ringtone is MP3 or WMA berfile, less than 40 seconds and / or 1MB, there would be no problem.

8. Windows Phone Battery Saver
Microsoft has done something great in this power-saving function: You can select the option to continue using the phone features a battery while the phone is in a weakened state, or activated after the next replenishment. Battery saver feature will turn off the Push Email and Multitasking. Basically, this feature provides a balance between the functionality of the phone while trying to deliver maximum battery life.

9. App Connect & Windows Phone Marketplace
With App Connect, you will find information on applications relevant to your web search results. For example, you're looking for on film, then in addition to the search results in the browser, you will see several applications related to the film. Simply click on the link and you will be brought to the Marketplace. As the name suggests, this is where you shop applications. For the latest version, the grouping of application categories more clearly and find good applications easier.

10. Find My Phone Windows Phone
Smartphone Windows Phone you lost? Rather than be sad, it's better just to track the whereabouts of this feature. What Would Nokia Do if Windows Phone 8 Fails on the Market, Join to Android ?

A member of the Nokia board of directors, Rista Siilasmaa, said i an interview on Finnish TV that Nokia has back up plan if Windows Phone 8 fails on the market. After Nokia clearly stated that they would never use Android on their smartphone, but this might change when WP8 fails to compete with Android phones.

Risto Siilasmaa claimed that the company is happy with how Windows Phone’s latest update is shaping up, with Windows Phone 8 set to bring new features to the platform while removing some of the existing irritating issues. Both Nokia and Microsoft are hoping for a turnaround in fortunes with Windows Phone 8, but if things don’t turn out how everyone hopes, it seems Nokia may have a backup plan up its sleeve.

Many people are going to be quite happy if in fact Nokia joins the Android camp and starts manufacturing some truly high-end devices. However, such a turn of events seems unlikely as the contract between Nokia and Microsoft is said to contain clauses, which force the Finns to focus all their effort on WP.

If Windows Phone 8 does fail to meet expectations, it is conceivable that Nokia could move into the already crowded Android phone market. With the likes of HTC, Samsung and LG already playing in a space that only has a finite amount of money flying around, Android is far from a nailed-on success for anyone, even Nokia.

That said, we’d be all over a Jelly Bean-powered Lumia 900, and we suspect plenty of other technology fans would at least want to give it a look, too. Android’s power, apps and community with Nokia’s undoubted ability to make a gorgeous handset? Yes, please!

However, according to GSMarena.com, there was a contact with the Nokia to make clear statement that there was a miss interpretation of the interview when asked about the plan to change to Android, and there the Nokia give a statement quote: "[...] like any responsible board, we must be prepared for alternatives, but that is not our focus today [...]".

It seems there is another operating system that would be the back up plan of the Nokia, wether it is Android OS or Symbian or Meego. But we are still waiting what it could be the back up plan.

Exclusive: Introducing the Upcoming Blackberry 10 Devices of L-Series and N-Series

Research in Motion (RIM) seems try very hard to make their product wanted by public. For the last months, the product sales of RIM have been decreased little by little. To avoid something bad happen, they are already planning to release what is called Blackberry 10 on L-Series (Touch) and N-Series (Qwerty).

BlackBerry 10 is upon us, as we expect RIM to make a formal announcement for the first device in August. Details regarding the BlackBerry 10 operating have been mildly out in the open. However, little has been known regarding the first BlackBerry 10 all-touch smartphone and the eventual physical keyboard iteration, until now.

With the availability of the first BlackBerry 10 devices quickly approaching, some additional details about the first two handsets have emerged. Courtesy of a leaked internal slide from RIM, we now know the alleged resolution and screen technology implemented in the first two smartphones, which will boot RIM's upcoming OS.

The BlackBerry L-series will be the first handset to break cover. The smartphone will offer touchscreen-only experience - right in line with previous rumors on the subject. The first L-Series smartphone will offer an OLED screen with the impressive resolution of 1280x768 pixels (think BlackBerry 10 developer alpha unit here). The density of the aforementioned pixels is bound to be even more impressive at 356ppi. The screen of the first L-series smartphone is expected to be 55mm wide.

The BlackBerry N-series on the other hand will be available with a RIM purists pleasing, hardware QWERTY keyboard at some point in Q1, 2013. The first member of the BlackBerry N-series will also sport an OLED display. In order to make space for the hardware keyboard , the unit's resolution has been trimmed to 720x720 pixels. The pixel density however is almost as impressive as in the L-series device at 330ppi, while the unit's width is in the 52-53mm range.

We are quite curious to see these two in production attire, given the fact that the fate of the company's handset's business likely depends on them. Naturally, we'll keep you posted as soon as we find out more details. We previously stated that both the BlackBerry London and Nevada have hit final production. Although, these devices are no longer under those codenames, as we see displayed in the internal document above there is now the BlackBerry L-series and N-series. Here’s some of the known specs…

BlackBerry L-series:

768×1280 screen resolution
55mm wide*
356 PPI

Essentially, the BlackBerry 10 Dev Alpha already has the market ready screen. What will be changed is the final production’s form factor. If you’ve had the opportunity to use a Dev Alpha, you’ll realize the amazing screen quality. The BlackBerry 10 L-series will even beat the iPhone4/S’ retina display, but you’re eyes might not really be able to tell the difference. Additionally, the internal document above shows the UI structure of the L-series. Now you have an idea of all the measurements for icons and buttons used in the status bar, main bar, tabs and so on.

BlackBerry N-series:

720×720 screen resolution
52 – 53mm wide*
330 PPI

The BlackBerry N-series, which was previously codenamed Nevada, will be the first BlackBerry 10 device with a physical QWERTY keyboard. Think of this device as the BlackBerry 10 Bold. The first N-series is said to use OLED screen technology, but later releases may use LCD display. The internal document above also shows the UI structure of the N-series. Now you have an idea of all the measurements for icons and buttons used in the status bar, main bar, tabs and so on.

We’re very eager to get our hands on the first BlackBerry 10 final production unit. If what we’re hearing come to fruition, RIM could push the BlackBerry L-series to market as early as the first half of September. The BlackBerry N-series is said to still be on track for a Q1 release in 2013, but we’re hoping it comes out even earlier.
