How to Root Lenovo S880

One of the best Lenovo devices is the Lenovo S880. It is a Phablet Android 4.0 3G Smartphone with 5.0 inch WVGA Screen Dual SIM MTK6575 1GHz GPS 5MP Camera WiFi. To be able to access the system we have to root the device first. On this article i will give the tutorial how to do it. Just read the rest of this article carefully.

What you need to prepare:

• Make sure your device has at least 75% of phone battery charge.
• Download and extract lenovo_s880_rooting or here
• Download  Driver Lenovo S880 (for a 64-bit only)

Steps to Root Lenovo S880

• Go to Setting > Aplication >Development
• Check USB debugging
• Connect Lenovo s880 to PC/laptop
• Inside extracting folder you`ll find 3 files in dbl folder, copy those files to windows/sistem32/. If files already exist, just overwrite it.
• Next, install ZhuoDashi 2.2.9 -setup to PC/laptop. this application still using chinesee, but there`s some button that easily to understand (such as root)
• ZhuoDashi will detect for device, notification will appear in windows (lenovo serial number) and device screen (don`t know how to read it)
• Click Root, the process will take time and device will reboot three times before its done.
• Boot in normal mode, you`ll find SuperSU in your application
• Done

Note: it`s works well using windows XP and Windows 7

Steps to root Lenovo S560:

• Go to Setting > Aplication >Development
• Check USB debugging
• Go to binary extract folder
• run runme.bat
• Connect Lenovo to PC/laptop using USB cable
• Wait until windows detect the device
• At command prompt windows, type 1(normal)
• Click “Restore my data” that appear in Lenovo screen
• Wait until process is done (it will reboot three times before finised)
• Done.

Note :

• Root can do without downgrade firmware, use the lastest firmware also work for it.
• Usb Driver also can found inside Lenovo S560 (at Usb Driver folder)

• Download poot-debug.apk. Google it, or this link (mirror mediafire) is working as of now.
• When you open Poot, it will prompt you to download Ministro as well, go ahead and download superuser while you're at it. 
• Run Poot and reboot phone. It worked so fast I didn't think it did anything, but I can confirm this works.
• Enjoy your rooted Mercury!

Steps to root the Huawei U8652:

1. You need to install the latest Android SDK (search google for latest version)

2. download unlockroot v2.3 

3. Follow the instructions and make sure that you have set your Settings > Development > USB Debugging box checked. I also set Unknown sources checkbox on.

4. Type in the following code on the phone keypad to open up the Service Mode

*#*# 2846579 #*#*

5. Go to Project Menu > Background Settings > Log Settings
6. Turn on Log Switch and set Log Level Settings to Verbose

7. Go back one screen

8. Go to Dump and Log and place a check in all log settings.

9. Reboot the phone

10. Once rebooted use UnlockRoot and root you phone.

11. Confirm success by using a Terminal app from the marketplace (free) and when you open a terminal type su at the $ prompt. It will ask if you want to install SuperUser, accept. The terminal prompt should now read # instead of $ which means you are a root user.

• Now you need to launch the app again and tap on poot button and it will start generating codes and once all the coded are generated then you need to reboot your phone.
• Now you need to download the superuser app and guess what you are done. Your Huawei Ascend Y H866C is successfully rooted and now you can enjoy the benefits of rooted Huawei Ascend Y H866C.

Steps to root Haipai Noble X710D MTK6577:

• Extract 'Android flash' anywhere to your desktop
• Open the folder within called 'USB VCOM Driver' and chose the folder then file that is your operating system (the .inf) and paste it to your desktop
• Pull the battery out of your phone and connect the phone to you computer whilst holding the volume up button
• Open device manager. You should see your phone (it re-appeared every 5 seconds for me). Right click on your phone and press update driver, then browse manually for the .inf file you put on your desktop. Once you've done that disconnect your phone
• Open 'Android flash' and open Flash_tool and select all the files to make it look like the picture below
• Press download, then plug in your phone whilst pressing volume up button
• Done! You now have CWM and have rooted your phone! There are also some other apps that are added too

If you are having issues with your IMEI code read this  There's also a issue with external sd cards which is currently being worked on. (phone can't write to sd card. if you attempt, phone reports sd card as damaged and sd card will need to be re-formatted)

Steps to root Haipai Noble i9220 MTK6575:

• Please download root file from the link above.
• Go to settings-developer options-click USB debugging.
• Connect the phone with computer,turn on usb device.
• Click the file you download from the link TPSparkyRoot.bat
• Your phone will restart first time,after the phone start finish(until you see the unlock),click enter in the window of TPSparkyRoot.bat.
• The phone will restart second time,still the same as first time we did.Then start third time,same as we did in last two times.Click enter then phone was rooted.
• You will see two more app was installed in your phone that means root phone successfully.

After successfully rooted, it will install root explorer.apk Chinese version which is rather useless for installing Market because it's all in Chinese. Thus, you need to download this "ES File Explorer" in order to put Google Play into the system folder. People who have a problem when installing Google Play by using apk, for example: Error processing purchase [DF-BPA-13]


Here is how to install a new and working Google Play Store:

• Download "Vending.apk" from the same 4shared folder above. 
• Copy Vending.apk to \system\app\ folder in your phone by using ES File Explorer in root explorer mode with system file mounted.
• Change permission of Vending.apk to Read/Write for Owner; Read for others (rw-r--r--)
• Shutdown your phone.
• Switch on your phone, you will see Google Play Store app, and Enjoy !
