There is a good news for those people who used the Nokia Smartphones. The upcoming update to the mobile Nokia OS, Carla, recently shows up in screenshot form. The screenshots don't show much, however, you can get a taste of what the update is going to bring.
Nokia Carla OS
The Nokia Carla OS update is reportedly destined for the Nokia 700, 701, 603 and the Nokia 808 Pureview. Unfortunately, the update won't be coming for the 1st generation Symbian^3 phones such as the Nokia N8, E7, C7 and C6-01.
First, there's the new on-screen qwerty keybord, which seems to have been inspired by its Windows Phone cousin. The Nokia Browser has also been updated to a new version, which features some new UI improvements.
But the most noticeable change comes from the lock screen. Gone is the classic Unlock Button, and replacing it is a Swipe to unlock method. The user interface of the Music player also sees some improvements in the form of a refreshed UI, as does the Options screen, which borrows the looks of the Meego Harmattan UI.
Here is the tutorial of how to hack Symbian OS on your smarthones using DrWeb and Norton Secuity hole. To be able to install any apps and games on your Symbian-based phones, you should hack your Symbian first. Because when you did not hack your phones, so when you are trying to install apps and games then it will shows up a messages "certificate error".

a. To access private folders, you need to connect your phone to PC or insert your memory card to a card reader.
- If you’re going to use E:\ (mass storage, or memory card in devices without mass storage memory), download QuarantineDriversLDD.zip
- If you’ll be using F:\ (memory card in devices with mass storage memory), you should download QuaranineF.zip
b. Depending on the one you downloaded, unpack the archive to the chosen drive
- This gives you have access to write in all system folders. Apply Install server patch. This allows you to install unsigned applications without certificate restrictions.
i. If you’re using Symbian ^3, copy this install server to C:\sys\bin
j. If you still get the red cross showing and can’t install unsigned applications, try the install servers on this post.

Many people want to hack their phones so they can install any apps on their phones. The Locked smartphones which did not hacked yet still running the original Operating System is difficult and rather impossible to run any hacked softwares or games on the phones.
People who did not hack their phones will always get the warning saying that "certificate error" when they are trying to install games or softwares on their phones. They also cannot access the system files on their phones too.
So, actually hacking Nokia with Symbian Belle OS is rather easier then Symbian Anna. To hack Symbian Belle we are not required to flash our phone pr even using a pc for the hacking process. This tutorial is working for the Nokia N8, C7. E7, 701, N9, as well as newly released Symbian Belle Smartphones.
Note: now you’re done with Norton. you can uninstall it from your phone if you want.
5. Install RomPatcherPlus_3.1_LiteVersion.sisx and launch.
Click on both patches to apply them and the blue icons beside them should turn green.
Applying Installserver patch, the icon might change to a red cross. This is where the installserver.exe in the pack you donwloaded comes in.
Now select each of them and go to Options > Add to Auto.
6. Install x-plore_s60_3rd_1_56.sisx and launch.
7. Press 0 and check the first four boxes.
8. Now copy that installserver in the pack you download to C:\sys\bin
After all of these steps were done, please restart your phone to complete the hacking process. Now your phones are ready to be installed any application even the certificate is expired and without warning the "certificate error" again..
There has been spreading news saying that the upcoming Nokia Carla will be available in the quarter 4 of the year 2012. But apparently this is the trusted rumor so it of course will make us happy to be able to taste Nokia Carla.
According to the information, the second-gen Belle smartphone, including Nokia 603, 700 and 701 will start shipping with the new version of their OS first. Later on, the rest of the Belle-running smartphones in the Nokia portfolio will get Carla as an update. Scheduled for Q4, the update should cover N8,C7,E7,X7,E6,C6-01.
Despite what previous rumors were saying, Carla will be distributed to all smartphones currently on Belle. However, those that lack NFC capabilities and 1GHz processors will get a trimmed down version of the update to avoid performance hiccups.
Finally, we learned that the Nokia N8 successor, which should be unveiled on Monday at the Nokia MWC press conference won't be the last device to run on Carla. There are at least two more Carla smartphones in works - they should both come out this year.
It would be best if you take those rumors with a pinch of salt, but the source has a decent record for these things and there are few things that sound unreasonable, so it's probably quite close to the truth.
