[Guide] How to Root Huawei Mercury (M886) using the Poot apk

The Mercury has lots of great smartphone features packed into an affordable package. The Mercury is a fully featured Android smartphone featuring the Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS and also includes great features like an 8MP rear camera/camcorder, VGA front facing camera, HD gaming and more! Caution: In my experience nothing has ever gone wrong with rooting. There is always that slight chance something can mess up. Use caution and only do this if you want to. I am not responsible if anything happens (but I really don’t think anything will happen if you do everything right)  Also rooting voids your warranty but don’t worry, unrooting should give it back like nothing ever happened.!! What you need to prepare:

• Make sure your device has at least 75% of phone battery charge.

Steps to root Huawei Mercury (M886):

• Download poot-debug.apk. Google it, or this link (mirror mediafire) is working as of now.
• When you open Poot, it will prompt you to download Ministro as well, go ahead and download superuser while you're at it. 
• Run Poot and reboot phone. It worked so fast I didn't think it did anything, but I can confirm this works.
• Enjoy your rooted Mercury!

[Guide] How to Root the Huawei Fusion U8652 using UnlockRoot

Last time i've shown you how to root Huawei Ascend Y H866C. This time i will try to explain a simple guide using one tool to root your device which is Huawei Fusion U8652. The tool that i will us is called UnlockRoot. Before you continue the process, you need to read this article carefully.

• Backup all personal data on your phone to make sure you have a copy of your personal data (e.g., contacts, SMS, MMS, Internet settings, Wi-Fi passwords, and the like) in case the procedure in this guide erases such data. Guide from here
• Make sure your device has at least 75% of phone battery charge.

Steps to root the Huawei U8652:

1. You need to install the latest Android SDK (search google for latest version)

2. download unlockroot v2.3 

3. Follow the instructions and make sure that you have set your Settings > Development > USB Debugging box checked. I also set Unknown sources checkbox on.

4. Type in the following code on the phone keypad to open up the Service Mode

*#*# 2846579 #*#*

5. Go to Project Menu > Background Settings > Log Settings
6. Turn on Log Switch and set Log Level Settings to Verbose

7. Go back one screen

8. Go to Dump and Log and place a check in all log settings.

9. Reboot the phone

10. Once rebooted use UnlockRoot and root you phone.

11. Confirm success by using a Terminal app from the marketplace (free) and when you open a terminal type su at the $ prompt. It will ask if you want to install SuperUser, accept. The terminal prompt should now read # instead of $ which means you are a root user.

Steps to root Huawei Ascend Y H866C:

• You need to first download and install the poot apk on your Huawei Ascend Y H866C from here  (mirror mediafire) and then you need to launch the same.
• This app will start downloading the files required to perform the root process and we would advice you not to interrupt this in between and let is download all the files.
• Now you need to launch the app again and tap on poot button and it will start generating codes and once all the coded are generated then you need to reboot your phone.
• Now you need to download the superuser app and guess what you are done. Your Huawei Ascend Y H866C is successfully rooted and now you can enjoy the benefits of rooted Huawei Ascend Y H866C.
