Overview:
On July 2008, Apple Inc. released the second generation of IPhone named Apple IPhone 3G. This is different with the previous IPhone which was built on it first release of smartphone model. The first IPhone can be said to be lack of many features, but still got public satisfied. Built in simple and easy to use, IPhone has indeed high class brand of smartphone on market competing with the others.
But now, IPhone make an advance on the operating system and develop it to the next level which is IOS 4 and make it on 3G. This IPhone 3G is equipped with the same CPU and GPU which are 412 MHz ARM 11 and PowerVR MBX also same primary camera 2MP with no secondary camera. Other features we find on this IPhone 3G are the GPRS, EDGE, and Google maps presented on it. These features we cannot find on the previous model of IPhone.
However, through the times, IPhone is really promising on market. Even it has its own style and OS, IPhone still got the high support from the market as theres are many people still missing one of its features and hope the next will be more satisfied of public needs. - No smart dialing (but Spotlight is a somewhat of a substitute)
- No DivX or XviD video support and no official third-party application to play that
- The whole iPhone is too dependent on iTunes - you cannot add the same type of content (video, photos, apps) to the phonefrom two computers, a regular file management interface would have been much better
