[Tutorial] How to SIM Unlocking Samsung Galaxy S4 GT-I9505 with Pic

Samsung Galaxy S4 is indeed the best smartphone for the moment. Even there are many smartphone featured with great specs, but there is hardly can be found which can stand side by side with this device. Surely there are many person who hold this monster right now, it can be known by the number of the sale of the Samsung Galaxy S4.

As a rule, you can get almost any device unlocked by paying a small fee directly to the carrier, or to several online services that would let you purchase an IMEI unlock. However, in my personal experience, nothing beats the feeling of doing such a process yourself, and save those precious bucks in the process.

On this article i will show you how to SIM unlocking Samsung Galaxy S4. But keep on mind that this tutorial is for those who expert of doing the stuff because this could damage your device.

Before we proceed, please be advised that the usual disclaimer applies. Playing around the carrier lock is risky business, and more complicated than your average Android modding. Follow these instructions at your own perusal. Redmond Pie cannot be held liable for any loss whatsoever resulting from following this method. Also, this method applies to GT-I9505 only, and not to other variants of Galaxy S4.

Step 1: Launch the Phone app on your Galaxy S4, and dial in: *#0011#

Step 2: Press the Menu button followed by the Back key. Then, hit the Menu button again and select KEY INPUT. Enter 1 and press the OK button to enter ServiceMode.

Step 3: Press Menu one more time and tap back again. This will pull up the Main Menu for ServiceMode. Tap [1] UMTS.

Step 4: Now select [1]DEBUG SCREEN, followed by [6] PHONE CONTROL.

Step 5: From the next screen, pick [6] NETWORK LOCK.

Step 6: You’ll get three options. Hit the one that says [3] PERSO SHA256 OFF.

Step 7: Now, you need to get back to Main Menu. To do this, hit the Menu button followed by the Back key. In Main Menu, now pick [6]COMMON, and then [6] NV REBUILD.

Step 8: The phone will tell you that a Golden Backup exists. Tap [4] Restore Back-up.

Your device will now go through a series of “conditions”, where it will first freeze, then get on a black screen with Blue LED on and both capacitive buttons on, after which it will reboot automatically. The whole cycle might take a couple of minutes, so be patient. Once it powers back on, it’s network unlocked, permanently. Enjoy!

Nokia Lumia 1020 is Officially Announced and See What its Feature here

For some reasons, the Finland manufacture still believe in their faith about bringing a different device featured with Windows Phone. They may hear us that we want Android Device made by Nokia. But, unfortunately they still stubborn not to grant our wishes. However, Nokia is out there still competing with another brand to launch another monster of mobile phone. Here it comes with Nokia Lumia 1020.

After an unprecedented amount of leaks, Stephen Elop took the stage at the Nokia Zoom Reinvented event in New York to proudly announce the Nokia Lumia 1020 - the company's new Windows Phone 8 cameraphone flagship.

The Nokia Lumia 1020's centerpiece is the 41MP autofocus PureView camera with a huge (by smartphone standards) 1/1.2" BSI sensor, 6-lens ZEISS optics and optical image stabilization. It is coupled with LED flash used for video shooting and a proper xenon flash.

The Lumia 1020's optically stabilized 41MP image sensor that can snap 40MP and 5MP photos at the same time – one straight off the sensor and one after Nokia's Super sampling has been applied. The other 41MP cameraphone - 808 PureView can only shoot one or the other at a time.

To make the best out of this beast of a camera, the Nokia ships the Lumia 1020 with its Pro Camera and Smart Camera camera lens apps. They'll allow advanced users fiddle with the camera settings and get the most out of the impressive shooter - there's even a full manual mode, which is a rarity outside prosumer or pro-grade cameras. At the front, there's a secondary 1.2MP wide-angle camera.

Nokia Lumia 1020 can capture videos of up to 1080p resolution and thanks to the high-res sensor it features lossless zoom. You can zoom in up to 3 times in 1080p mode and up to 6 times when shooting 720p video without sacrificing much in terms of quality. Sound is recorded in stereo and is guaranteed to be crisp and deep thanks to the two wide dynamic range microphones on board.

The Nokia Lumia 1020 internals don't bring many surprises as the smartphone is powered by the same Snapdragon S4 chipset with a 1.5GHz dual-core Krait CPU as the Nokia Lumia 925. A nice addition is the 2GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage. As usual, Nokia and Microsoft have teamed up and provide 7GB of free SkyDrive storage.

You'll be able to admire the beautiful photos taken with the 41MP camera on the 4.5" Clear Black AMOLED display of 1280 x 768 pixels resolution. It is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and features Nokia's PureMotion HD+ technology for smoother animations. Super Sensitive Touch technology is present, too, allowing you to operate the phone with gloves and nails. Nokia Glance Screen is available thanks to the Windows Phone 8 Amber update.

Local Connectivity is standard and includes Bluetooth 3.0, NFC (featuring SIM-based security), dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n and GPS with Glonass support. Network support is quite wide covered with quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE, 42Mbps UMTS/HSPA and LTE support.

The Nokia Lumia 1020 is powered by a 2000mAh capacity and supports wireless charging via an accessory cover (purchased separately). The Finns say the phone will be able to last 16 days on standby and provide 13.3 hours of talk time. Video and music playback endurance are rated at 6.8 and 63 hours, respectively.

This impressive camera module is certainly pretty large, but the Lumia 1020 isn't too bulky overall. At 130.4 x 71.4 x 10.4 mm, the smartphone is pretty much the same size as the Lumia 920, except that this time there's a large bump on the back. The Lumia 1020 is also lighter than its predecessor, tipping the scales at 158 grams.

The Nokia Lumia 1020 will be available in yellow, white and black. It will hit AT&T on July 26 for $299 with a two-year contract, while global availability is yet to be confirmed.

[Tutorial] How to Backup and Restore Android Devices Using ClockWorkMod Recovery

As we already now, each time we decide to perform operations on our Android powered device the data saved on its storage memory or even on its SD card might be wiped out. Furthermore, if you want to do things more complicated like flashing a custom ROM, install unofficial updates, or beta firmware, you can wreck (brick) the phone’s system. But, there is a way in which you can avoid all these unfortunate aspects. You can make a full backup before starting the main process; and I’m not referring to any backup as you should save your current ROM first.

This is exactly what we will be checking during the present step by step guide: how to backup and restore your Android device before installing custom ROMs, or applying unofficial updates. And the perfect way to do it is by using the ClockWorkMod Recovery custom recovery image. With this you can backup the current ROM that is running on your phone, so in case if something goes wrong while trying to flash a new ROM into the system you will be able to revert and use the old software. This is the perfect method to use for avoiding bricking your smartphone.

As you know, the warranty is void each time you want to complete one of the up mentioned operations, so backing up the software is no longer an option for you. Anyway, you need to get ClockWorkMod Recovery first. If you don’t know CWM is a custom recovery designed to work on the Android platform and offer different capabilities to the users like: making backups, test custom ROMs, perform maintenance operations and so on.

Now let’s head to the proper guide. Make sure you read all the lines for understanding the concept and for completing a full and safe backup of your ROM. Also you will learn how to install and use CWM, so don’t skip sections of the tutorial.

Follow these steps:

1. First, you should root your device as you cannot install ClockWorkMod Recovery on an un-rooted handset. Check our previous posts as you can find a how to root guide suitable for your device.
2. Then you should know that not all the smartphones are being able to support the tool. So, before starting to do something, check here and see if your phone is on the list.
3. Then, after checking the compatibility and rooting the handset you must go on Google Play and search for the ROM Manager app.
4. Install the same.
5. Then open the tool.
6. Select the “flash ClockWorkMod Recovery” option.
7. Then, just select “Backup Current ROM” and follow the prompts.
8. The backup will be completed once you reboot the smartphone.
9. Now, if you decide to install a custom ROM into the system and something wrong happens just restore the backed up firmware by opening the app again and choosing “Manage and Restore Backup” and then “Restore”.
10. You will have the old OS as soon as you reboot the device.

So, there you have it; that’s how you can backup the current ROM before flashing a custom ROM, or update your Android device with an unofficial firmware, and this by using the ClockWorkMod Recovery tool. If you want to backup the rest of the files from your handset too, you can use other apps, or methods. In this way you can save your personal info whether it is about messages, contacts, calendar saves, Market apps and who knows what else.

The Prices and Images of the Alleged Budget iPhone Shells in Multicolored

Besides new color schemes and more cost effective materials, the latest rumors surrounding the budget iPhone range include mass production of the models currently under way, as well as leaked pricing. Turns out budget version isn’t that cheap after all.

Sonny Dickson, the man behind several accurate Apple-related leaks in the past, posted on Twitter what he alleges will be the pricing of the new cheaper iPhone line.

It’s also anyone’s guess what hardware will be available inside, so there might be some cost cutting going on there, too.

[Tutorial] How to Install Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2 UVUAMDL Firmware to T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S4

Since we are talking about an official update and since we will flash the UVUAMDL firmware on a Samsung branded handset, for completing this tutorial we will use Odin. Therefore, you don’t have to worry as there won’t be used complex and risky apps or programs. Odin, is a dedicated tool used on update and root operations; the program is designed and offered by Samsung, so you have nothing to worry about.

Follow the steps below:

• Remember to install the proper drivers on your computer.
• Then, download Odin and unzip the file on your computer.
• Install the tool and run Odin.
• On desktop, download the update file and unzip the same.
• You can download the update package from here.
• Turn off you phone.
• Reboot in download mode -> press and hold Power, Volume Down and Home buttons.
• Connect your S4 with the computer.
• Check Odin: the “added” message should be there and the ID:COM should be yellow or blue.

• From Odin you need to select “PDA”.

• Don’t check the re-partition option from Odin, also don’t make any other changes on the program.

• In the end, you will see the “pass” message displayed.
• Unplug the USB cord and reboot your device.

Nokia Lumia 1020 will come in 41MP and Brings to Three Colors

The launch of the Windows Phone 8-powered Nokia Lumia 1020 smartphone, so far known as Nokia EOS will be in two days. Until all the details about the PureView 808 camera phone follow up are officially unveiled, new information about the Windows Phone 8 smartphone are surfacing, confirming what we already knew and bringing a series of interesting novelties.

Alongside the leaked press image, some fresh details about the handset's specs emerged, including its much talked about camera unit. The latter promises to be a smartphone photographer's dream when the handset goes official.

Reportedly, the 41MP camera unit of the Nokia Lumia 1020 will be capable of simultaneously capturing 32MP and 5MP images with 16:9 ratio, as well as a 38MP ones with 4:3 aspect. The 5MP image will be oversampled by combining seven pixels into one "super pixel." The camera will unsurprisingly feature optical image stabilization (OIS) and F2.2 aperture.

The Pro Camera app which left us wondering last time will bring proper enthusiast settings to the user. They include the option to manually tweak ISO, white balance, focus, shutter speed, and the flash settings.

Further leaked specs for the Nokia Lumia 1020 included never before seen on WP handset 2GB of RAM, 32GB of non-expandable storage, NFC, FM radio, flip to silence gesture, and optional wireless charging.

Nokia Lumia 1020 is allegedly expected to hit AT&T's shelves by the end of this month. No details have been spilled on international availability.
