The mid-range android smartphone, Lenovo A6o, is quite impressive. Coming with Dual SIM/Dual Active Android OS 2.3 version with 3.5in Capacitive Multi-Touchscreen. For those who already have this devoce on hand, it is time for you to root the system. Anyway follow these instructions below carefully.
Caution: In my experience nothing has ever gone wrong with rooting. There is always that slight chance something can mess up. Use caution and only do this if you want to. I am not responsible if anything happens (but I really don’t think anything will happen if you do everything right) Also rooting voids your warranty but don’t worry, unrooting should give it back like nothing ever happened.!! - This Procedure works for Mobiles having stock ROM only, and will definitely void your warranty, although the warranty can be claimed by un-rooting your device.
What you need to prepare:
- Lenovo A60 and a PC
- Backup all personal data on your phone to make sure you have a copy of your personal data (e.g., contacts, SMS, MMS, Internet settings, Wi-Fi passwords, and the like) in case the procedure in this guide erases such data. Guide from here. You may skip this step.
- Make sure your device has at least 75% of phone battery charge.
- Download and install Lenovo A60 Driver
- Download SuperOneClick
Steps to root Lenovo A60:
- Go to menu > settings > application > development
- Check USB Debugging (enable)
- Connect lenovo to PC/Laptop
- Automatically Windows will install the driver, use lenovo a60 driver if windows ask about it
- Wait until driver installed
- Run SuperOneClick
- Click Root
- Wait until SuperOneClick Root Process is done
- Reboot the device
- You`ll see SuperUser icon in homescreen then your lenove is already root
- Done.
Steps to unroot Lenovo A60:
For unroot you can do like root step method, but click at unroot button in step 7.
If unroot process success, SuperUser will gone from homescreen
